sizeless delivers three main outputs:

A 3D point cloud is a collection of millions of data points in three-dimensional space. Each point represents a precise location on a surface — together, they form a digital twin of a building or room. Point clouds are used in architecture, construction, and facility management for accurate measurements and spatial analysis.
A 2D floor plan is a scaled top-down drawing that shows the layout of a property, including walls, doors, and windows. It is generated automatically from the 3D capture and can be used for documentation, planning, and area calculations according to common standards such as DIN 277, SIA 416, or the international ISO 9836.
A BIM (Building Information Modeling) model is a digital representation of a building that includes both geometry and metadata — for example, materials, dimensions, or room types. It’s used to manage buildings efficiently throughout their lifecycle, from design to operation.
Accuracy depends on several factors during data capture, such as lighting, motion, and device handling. In practice, sizeless consistently achieves sub-centimeter accuracy. Current testing aims to reach 5 mm precision for specific use cases.

Our best results come from iPhone Pro and iPad Pro models. These devices combine photogrammetry and LiDAR sensors, enabling the highest level of accuracy. sizeless currently focuses on iOS, but Android support is part of our technical roadmap.
Photogrammetry is a computer vision technique that reconstructs 3D geometry from overlapping images. By analyzing multiple photos from different angles, sizeless computes depth and structure with high precision.
LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) measures distances by emitting laser pulses and capturing their reflections. In smartphones, LiDAR improves depth perception and accuracy, especially in low-light or textureless environments.

For the best accuracy and processing speed, we recommend splitting larger spaces into multiple captures. Each video should ideally be no longer than 7–8 minutes, which usually covers about 100 m² (around 3 GB of data). As a rule of thumb, a 1,000 m² building can be captured in about 10 videos. Ensure at least 2 meters of overlap between captures so our algorithms can align everything perfectly.
Uploads depend mostly on your internet connection — our system easily handles hundreds of gigabytes per day. Example:
  • With a 250 Mbit/s upload speed, transferring 30 GB of video data (roughly a 1,000 m² building capture) takes about 16–17 minutes.
  • Uploads run seamlessly in the background and automatically pause/resume if your connection drops.
Once your video is captured and uploaded, the sizeless Insight Engine™ takes over processing. Delivery time: To ensure maximum accuracy and detail, the high-fidelity 3D model and accurate floor plan are delivered in approx 48 hours (2 days) per 1,000 m² recorded.
